OH Technician – Bell Helicopters

Position Overview

Nampa Valley HeliServices is an FAA Part 145 Repair Station specializing in Bell helicopter maintenance and component overhaul, located in Nampa, Idaho.
 
We are seeking a fulltime Bell Overhaul Technician to perform overhaul and repair of Bell 206, 407, 205, 212, and 412 components. This position is designed for experienced technicians with strong Bell platform knowledge who take pride in precision workmanship, regulatory compliance, and quality results.
 
Primary Duties
  • Perform disassembly, inspection, overhaul, and repair of Bell helicopter components in accordance with approved data
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including parts used, work performed, and inspections completed
  • Adhere to applicable aviation regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assigned work
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and optimize maintenance procedures
 

Required Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License in good standing
  • Extensive experience with Bell 206 and/or 407 series aircraft components
  • Experience working in an FAA Part 145 MRO environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow technical manuals and written and verbal instructions in English
  • Requires a high level of mental alertness and decisionmaking capability
  • Must be able to lift up to 85 lbs. repeatedly, or assist in team lifts of up to 150 lbs.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing, as required
  • Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug/alcohol screening
 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bell 205, 212, and 412 platforms
  • Bell factory component school training
  • Experience with aircraft and component maintenance records
 

Work Environment

  • Fulltime position (overtime as required)
  • Monday–Friday schedule
